The Triad Arts Theater is a COMMUNITY Non-profit home for the Arts.
It is a sanctuary for actors, poets, musicians, artists (the gallery), and lecturers.
It is also a unique, artsy theater for the community to enjoy outstanding presentations which are equal to those in Las Vegas, Off Broadway, and Los Angeles, and at a much more affordable price not to mention it is a stone’s throw from home!
BUT NO ART THEATER SURVIVES ON TICKET SALES ALONE!
NOT EVEN THE MET THEATER IN NEW YORK CITY!
IT SURVIVES WITH THE HELP OF DONATIONS!
The theater needs to keep fees low for artists so they can do their shows, and prices reasonable for the audience so they can afford to come see these great performances often! The theater monthly expenses include items such as rent, utilities, trash pickup, internet, and telephone, just to keep the doors open. This does not include repairs, upgrades, supplies, accounting, advertising, printing , lights, paint etc.. An insurmountable amount of time and energy is required to put on events and maintain the theater …and no matter how excellent the shows, sometimes bad weather or other conflicting events happening in town the same day can cause poor attendance. Regardless of the situation, the rent and expenses have to be paid!
This is why the theater depends on YOU to help keep it in existence.
Your donations go directly to keeping the theater open! UNLIKE most big charity groups, this theater does not pay any of the people working at the theater. It is totally run by volunteers from the top director/ creator, sound system techs, to the bottom front line concession ticket persons. So every dollar that comes to this non -profit goes to the cause…And Not in the pockets of the people involved.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING PART OF THE FAMILY!
